DesignShop V12 Editor by Melco is the second tier of DesignShop 12 — built for embroiderers who want to go beyond lettering and monogramming into full manual digitizing and stitch-level editing. It includes everything from the Lettering level — 200+ fonts, 1,000 stock designs, Design Checker, arched text and type-on-path — plus the hands-on editing tools that allow users to create, modify and fine-tune embroidery at the wireframe and stitch level, with automatic fabric adjustment, alignment tools and a searchable custom shapes library.

Built on DesignShop 12's completely redesigned platform, the Editor level benefits from the full V12 ecosystem: a customisable workspace with workspace tabs, cloud-based licensing via Melco Cloud for seamless computer transitions, MelcoOS integration for direct machine communication, hi-res PNG export from the 3D stitch preview for DTG and dye-sub artwork, and gradient letter characters for creative colour-blend lettering effects. The proprietary OFM file format sends designs directly to the machine without exporting — resizable ±20% without quality loss. Compatible with Windows 10 and 11.
