Create or import your artwork with professional text, curve and object tools — freehand curves drawn with mouse or pen are smoothed automatically — or trace any bitmap into cut-ready vector paths with the built-in Vectorizer. The Create Cut-Contour module outlines even very large and complicated images, effects, photos and text in seconds, while the interactive contour cutting wizard supports auto-mark (ARMS) and laser pointer cutters: print on one device, laminate, then cut on another with perfect registration.
Production runs clean and fast: Blade Compensation, Overcut, Preserve Cutting Order and Optimize Cutter's Path prevent rounded corners and incomplete cuts on intricate patterns and fine text. The Spool Function queues multi-layered, multi-color vinyl jobs sorted by color to minimise material changes, and V5 adds a dynamic WYSIWYG cutfile preview, color merging for cutting, trim options to position artwork precisely on the vinyl, automatic job grouping into a single print queue, weedlines and overlap tools for overwide cut files — plus full cut settings (speed, pressure, blade offset, pass count) and tiling/paneling for large-format signs.
